Greenwood Shops; the heart of the Toronto Transit Commission's subway repairs program. Here, vehicles that enter are gutted down and see repairs that the other facilities cannot handle, such as the retooling of the trucks (wheels), door pneumatic repairs, or complete rebuilds from the ground up. All in a days work for the employees here.

Built at the same time as the rest of Greenwood Yard and the original section of the Bloor-Danforth line, Greenwood Shops have been in the heavy repairs business since opening. Sitting at the northeast corner of the Yard, the shops look unappealing and boring for the most part, in contrast to the carhouse to the south where trains are visible, being shunted around.
Inside the shops, however... well, I'll let the photos below do the talking, as the TTC was kind enough to open up the shops twice now for the annual Doors Open Toronto Event.
