Out in Scarborough, along the edges of its magnificent bluffs, sits the abandoned remains of what was once a private residence and an inn; The Guild Inn. Now the area is a city park, with walking trails, art sculptures, and a great view of Lake Ontario for visitors. The Guild Inn itself, however, is very much off limits.

Unfortunately, having never been in the building itself, there isn't much I can say about it; and having spoken with fellow explorers, very few have managed to get in. The entire first floor is equipped with motion sensors that trigger essentially silent alarms (you can faintly hear the alarm chirp if you've set it off), and the other floors might also be equipped with these sensors.
As well, all the doors to the building are locked, and most windows have been boarded over. As such, the only thing at The Guild Inn that is remotely interesting is the filled-in pool out back, which still has the brick edge outlining where it used to sit.
Also, based on where this location is, don't be surprised if young area locals appear late at night. They seem more than happy to leave you alone if you leave them alone.
Overall, though, I'd say it isn't worth the visit because you can't get in, at least not at this time. Especially now that a demolition team has shown up to remove the newer addition to the inn.
