Nestled at the corner of Lakeshore Blvd. and Etobicoke Creek in Mississauga, Aquaview is a condo complex that has sprung up from nowhere. Featuring a 16 floor view over the lake and what looks like it will be a nice open floor terrace to the one side, Aquaview caught my attention since it stands taller than most of the suburban homes around it.

And so I went with two other explorers to see what kind of views we could get off of the condo. The answer? It has a pretty good view of Toronto and Mississauga... on a clear night. Sadly, the weather was not with us on our visit; what started as a clear night ended being extremely foggy by the time we had climbed the 17 flights of stairs to the mechanical penthouse. C'est la vie.
Other than the unique view, Aquaview doesn't have much going for it. It's the same as many other condos I've explored during construction... cookie cutter design, floor after floor. Doesn't leave much room for unique photos.
But it is worth a second look if I can find a nice clear night for that view...
